Our 2020 “Stories from the Past” documentary debuted on December 5th, 2020 to a broad audience as a virtual event via Zoom and Facebook. It concluded with a panel of guest speakers and a random prize drawing. If you missed the event screening, you can still view the film here. Native American plant garden at Villa Mira Monte

Thanks to a grant funded in March of 2019 by the South Valley Fleuer Garden Club, a Native American garden has been established at the entrance of Villa Mira Monte.

Morgan Hill Historical Society Receives Grant Awards from Santa Clara County Historic Grant Program

The Morgan Hill Historical Society today announced that it has been awarded two grants by Santa Clara County as part of the County’s competitive Historic Grant Program. The program’s purpose is to support projects that acknowledge and celebrate untold stories and/or underrepresented/disadvantaged communities.

Morgan Hill Historical Society Appoints New Board President

On June 22, 2020, the Morgan Hill Historical Society Board of Directors elected long-time member and volunteer, Roger Knopf, as President of the organization, effective July 1, 2020. Knopf stepped into the role of former President Kathy Sullivan who led the organization for six years. Kathy remains active on the Board as Chair of Marketing Communications and on other committees.
